Most of the questions you may have are answered in our handbooks, based on if you are a short or long term tenant.

THEY INCLUDE ALL THE RELEVANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR STAY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBERS, POLICIES AND RULES. CONTACT JAYDEE DIRECTLY ONCE YOU HAVE CONFIRMED AND PAID TO OBTAIN A PASSWORD TO OPEN THE HANDBOOK.

Where can I book for a short term booking?

Is the office manned?

If I am a long-term tenant, what should I bring with me?

Do you allow pets?

No, unfortunately we do not allow pets

You can book through booking.com or Airbnb, but our best rates are available if you contact us and book through directly with us.

Yes, we are manned Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

You will need:

  • Bedding – Please bring pillows, duvet, bedsheets. Alternatively a bedding pack can be purchased on arrival for £30.

  • Towels and mini toiletries (We can provide toiletries & towel packs for £10), toilet roll.

  • Personal laptop or computer

  • Chargers & leads. (there are two USB ports above all desks and 3 standard sockets in each room)

  • Your own crockery and equipment for cooking.

  • Televisions can be brought for your room / lounge area. However you will need to pay for a TV LICENSE for its use.

What do I get for for my money when I stay?

What should I definitely not bring with me?

Do not bring the following:

  • Kitchen appliances (fridge, mini fridge/microwave mini oven)

  • Heaters – every room has a heater provided

  • Soft furnishings (beanbags, floor cushions, rugs)

  • Extra furniture – please discuss with us first

  • Candles or oil burners

  • Any pets

The rent includes all bills such as:

water, electricity, heating, maintenance, a communal cleaner, waste removal, high speed broadband Wifi, secure bicycle storage, 24/7 out of hours mobile service. We recommend you get contents insurance if you are staying as a long-term tenant

What amenities do you provide?

Is there a curfew?

Can I check in 24/7?

Is there parking available?

How do I check out?

Who do I contact if there is an emergency?

Are the contracts flexible?

Our contracts are generally 11 months long. The only short term options we have are through AirBnb

On request, we can provide a range of amenities such as pots and pans, shampoo and shower gel, toilet paper, tea and coffee etc. Please get in touch to tell us what you require

No, you may enter and exit at any time as we give you the codes to enter the building. Please be quiet and respectful if entering after-hours. 

Yes you can. If it is after 6pm, you will need to arrange at the reception so that keys can be left in the key box at the office

Yes, parking is £5 a day

You will have to organise the checkout time with the reception. If you are checking out outside of normal hours, we have a key box next to the reception.

What should I do if I have a maintenance issue? 

Please contact the office or Jaydee to lodge your issue and we will deal with it as soon as possible

Can we leave luggage with you?

When do I receive my deposit back?

Does my room or block get cleaned? 

Do you have a female-only wing?

Your deposit for short term rentals is generally returned in 7 business days. For long-term rentals, we lodge your deposit with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) so it is kept safe and it is returned according to the agreement with the scheme within around  7 - 10 business days

Yes, please speak to the reception and we can organise this

Yes, we do. Enquire to find out more.

For your room, you usually clean this yourself, although you can ask us to get our cleaner to clean your room for an extra price. The communal areas get cleaned weekly and you are expected to clean after yourself in all the communal kitchen/bathroom areas.
